The Yoga of Enlightened Mother Arya Tara

This short sadhana—ritual prayers for spiritual attainments—contains the essence of the self-generation practice of Arya Tara, the female Buddha embodying enlightened compassion and wisdom. Tara is also the manifestation of the wind element of all Buddhas, and because of this if we rely on her with strong faith we will quickly receive her protection and blessings. Because of Arya Tara’s strong connection with Atisha, the Founder of Kadam Lamrim, she promised to give special care, protection, and blessings to Atisha’s followers who sincerely practise Kadam Lamrim. By practicing the yoga of Enlightened Mother Arya Tara we can progress quickly along all the stages of the spiritual path, Lamrim, and attain the supreme happiness of enlightenment.
