Every year at the NKT-IKBU International Summer Festival, which always takes place at Manjushri KMC, we have a Tharpa shop (selling all Tharpa items such as books, sadhanas and artwork) plus a separate Summer Festival Shop selling Dharma practice items such as statues, stupas, malas, mandala sets, gifts and much, much more. This year, as last year, we have created an online Summer Festival Shop where you can purchase all your Tharpa items as well as all your Dharma items and gift items. All the high quality items you purchase from the online Summer Festival Shop will be securely packed and promptly shipped, either to the UK or to any country in the world.
This year’s NKT-IKBU International Summer Festival takes place over 2 weeks between July 30th and August 14th 2021 and consists of powerful and inspiring empowerments and teachings. In “The Heart Practice” in Week 1, Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong, the General Spiritual Director of the NKT-IKBU, will grant the Empowerment of Dorje Shugden and will give teachings on Lamrim (The Stages of The Path to Enlightenment). In “Awakening our Buddha Nature” in Week 2, Gen-la Jampa, the Deputy Spiritual Director of the NKT-IKBU, will grant the Highest Yoga Tantra Empowerments of Heruka and Vajrayogini, and will give teachings on the practice.
Gen-la Dekyong and Gen-la Jampa will be teaching from these books during the Festival.
Week 1 - The Heart Practice
Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong will be teaching Lamrim and granting Dorje Shugden empowerment.
The heart of Kadampa Buddhism is the practice of Lamrim - the stages of the path to enlightenment. This is a special presentation of Buddha’s teachings that is easily integrated into modern daily life.
By relying on the Wisdom Dharma Protector Dorje Shugden we will quickly gain deep inner experience of Lamrim and transform our life into the very path to enlightenment.
Week 2 - Awakening our Buddha Nature
Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche says, “The gateway through which we enter Tantra is receiving a Tantric empowerment. An empowerment bestows upon us special blessings that heal our mental continuum and awaken our Buddha nature.” The empowerments and teachings in Week 2 will open the door to Highest Yoga Tantra, the very essence of Kadampa Buddhism and the quick path to enlightenment.
These items relate to the Highest Yoga Tantra practices of Heruka and Vajrayogini.
A brief essential guide to all the Highest Yoga Tantra sadhanas.
These items relate to daily meditation practice and include: malas, offerings and offering bowls, mandala kits and ritual implements such as vajra and bell sets.
Accumulate merit though the practice of making offerings in front of our shrine and statues.
Malas are essential for reciting mantras and can also be used to create and offer a pure universe to holy beings. Mala bags are used to safely keep malas.

Can I get pre-festival delivery?
We cannot guarantee pre-Festival delivery to all regions due of the ongoing covid situation, but we will do our very best to get things to you as quickly as we can.
To receive delivery of physical items before the Festival begins, we recommend placing your order with Tharpa US by end of July 25th.

- 27 May (delivery to UK)
Delivery schedules for other Tharpas (non-UK) may vary.
