Lamrim Field of Merit

The Gurus, Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the Lamrim Refuge Assembly and Field of Merit visualized during meditation on the stages of the path to enlightenment. In the center is Buddha Shakyamuni with Conqueror Vajradhara at his heart. To his right are the lineage Gurus of the vast path, or Buddha’s teachings that emphasize compassion; to his left are lineage Gurus of the profound path, or Buddha’s teachings that emphasize wisdom; above are the lineage Gurus of the Tantric teachings; and below in descending order are the Deities of the four classes of Tantra, Buddhas of Sutra, Bodhisattvas, Solitary Realizers, Hearer Foe-destroyers, Heroes and Heroines, and Dharma Protectors.
