In Spring 2018 Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche published his 23rd book, The Mirror of Dharma - How to find the real meaning of human life.
Later that year Venerable Geshe-la gave the oral transmission of The Mirror of Dharma to Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong and Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab - General Spiritual Director and former General Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition.
During this blessing transmission, Venerable Geshe-la gave personal and inspiring advice from his heart clarifying many important points about Dharma practice in general, as well as how to engage successfully in meditation and transform daily life into the spiritual path.
These oral instructions have been integrated into a special edition of the book, The Mirror of Dharma with Additions, which will be available from May 2019 at the NKT-IKBU International Spring Festival.
In this concise yet deeply moving presentation of the essential practices of Buddha's Sutra and Tantra teachings, Venerable Geshe-la explains as practical instructions the complete spiritual path, based on his deep experience gained from a lifetime spent in meditation, and inspired by the unsurpassed teachings of Je Tsongkhapa and the oral teachings of the Ganden Emanation Scripture.
Directed at those sincerely wishing to make practical progress in their spiritual development, The Mirror of Dharma with Additions shows clearly how we can solve our daily problems of anger, uncontrolled desire and ignorance, and how to make our human life meaningful.
With Venerable Geshe-la’s permission, Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong and Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab will pass on the precious transmission blessings and give a commentary to The Mirror of Dharma with Additions at the NKT-IKBU International Fall Festival 2019.
