Vajrapani 2

Vajrapani is the Buddha of spiritual power; the embodiment of the spiritual strength of all the Buddhas. His function is to destroy the delusions of living beings by bestowing special power upon their body and mind. He appears in a wrathful aspect, displaying his power to overcome all outer, inner and secret obstacles to spiritual practice. Vajrapani means 'Vajra Holder' indicating that he is the holder of Secret Mantra, the lineage holder of Buddha's Tantric teachings.
