Jewels of Dharma Series - VIEW ALL

These products are part of the Jewels of Dharma series by Tharpa Publications – a set of small folded cards intended to aid with the memorization of particular Kadampa Buddhist texts. They are all excerpts from the books and oral teachings of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche.

Venerable Atisha (982-1054) is the founder of Kadampa Buddhism. His advice encapsulates the way of life of the early Kadampa practitioners, whose example of purity and sincerity all modern Kadampa Buddhists should try to emulate. This timeless wisdom is as profoundly benefcial and applicable now, as it was when it was originally composed.

In The Mirror of Dharma with Additions, Venerable Geshe Kelsang says:

When we memorize Dharma books and sadhanas we are storing huge precious jewels of Dharma in the store of our mind. Later, for us, Dharma will come naturally from our mind day and night, even during sleep. This is because the treasury of our mind will be full of the jewels of Dharma, which will never decrease; the more we use them the more they will increase.
