    With his hands in the gesture of meditative equipoise Buddha Amitayus holds a bowl brimming with the nectar of immortality, indicating that by relying upon him with faith we can increase our long life, merit and wisdom, and attain the deathless state of a Buddha.

  • Buddha Avalokiteshvara - Gesture of Respect
    With his hands in the gesture of respect at his heart, the Compassion Buddha Avalokiteshvara shows that even though he is enlightened he still relies on his Spiritual Guide, Buddha Amitabha. He holds a jewel that symbolizes his own enlightenment.
